Marley Stone Bourke

Born and raised in downtown New York City, Marley began riding originally as a bribe from her parents to leave the city on weekends. Marley rode alongside her sister at Pleasant Hollow Farms in Pennsylvania under the direction of Jane Cory where she was introduced to eventing. In order to ride on a more consistent basis, Marley attended the Ethel Walker School in Connecticut for high school and for the first time was able to ride daily and began training with Bonnie Mosser, who coached Marley from high school through college.

Marley attended Davidson College while actively competing and attended Dartmouth’s Tuck Bridge Business Program for her post graduate in preparation for owning and running a farm. Marley began working for Sharon White right out of college before devoting herself fully to Bourke Eventing.

After a short break from riding while pregnant with son Senan, Marley partnered with the small but mighty LVS Dassett Charisma. Together they competed to the 4* level. Marley continues to build a strong string of horses while maintaining the business side of Bourke Eventing.
